This policy describes how the Klypr Chrome extension handles information when you use it on YouTube. Klypr is designed so your notes stay useful without sending them to us.

Klypr is a Chrome extension that adds timestamped notes on YouTube watch pages, so you can tie ideas to specific moments in a video.

Notes, timestamps, optional titles, tags, and UI preferences (such as theme) are saved with chrome.storage.local in your browser. That data stays on your device and is associated with the YouTube video you are viewing. Klypr does not provide an account or cloud sync service for this data.

• Sell your data to third parties
• Use your data for advertising or profiling
• Upload your stored notes to Klypr-operated servers as part of normal extension use
• Use your data for credit decisions or purposes unrelated to the extension

The extension is limited to https://www.youtube.com/* so it can show the sidebar and timeline pins on watch pages. That matches the host permissions declared in the extension manifest.

Typography may be loaded from Google Fonts. Those requests are subject to Google’s privacy policy and terms.
